Sustainable Development Goals

SOS Children’s Villages is committed to helping the world achieve the UN Sustainability Goals and build a sustainable future for children and young people. This 15-year plan of action, agreed by world leaders in September 2015, aims to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice, guarantee access to quality education and decent employment, and tackle climate change. Tackling these global issues is central to our strategy to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people around the world.

Creating a sustainable future for children

SOS Children’s Villages is working with partners and governments to help ensure the Sustainable Development Goals are successful at reducing child poverty, improving access to education, promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, reducing inequalities, and making sure young people and families have access to employment.
