Celebrity supporters

Our high-profile supporters are dedicated individuals who share our values. Their understanding of and commitment to the cause of children without parental care or at risk of losing it, helps SOS Children's Villages raise its profile globally across many different audiences. This in turn helps us reach people who might otherwise not know of the valuable work of the organisation.

Vincent Kompany

Manchester City and Belgian international footballer Vincent Kompany has been an SOS Children’s Villages celebrity supporter since 2006. He has visited many of our projects and spoken with passion and knowledge about the work of SOS Children's Villages, raising awareness of the millions of children worldwide who are growing up without parental protection and care.

Sports commentator Gary Lineker interviewed Vincent Kompany to find out what inspired him to support SOS Children's Villages.
