Individual giving

Contributions from individuals like you enable us to continue to give at-risk children the chance to thrive in a secure family environment with the resources they need to achieve their full potential. 

Our team will work closely with you long-term to better understand your interests and direct your donations towards the projects you are most passionate about.
We can partner with you on an individual basis in a number of ways. You could fundraise for us through our sponsored events, sponsor a child or village, make a regular donation, make a philanthropic gift, leave a legacy, donate while you shop, or give in memory.

By supporting SOS Children’s Villages UK you could contribute towards:

  • One or more of our 570 communities for children without parental care worldwide
  • Caring for unsupported children in a specific community or region in one of the 125 countries worldwide in which we operate
  • Our family strengthening programmes, which prevent family separation
  • Emergency relief for children impacted by natural disasters, pandemics and conflicts
  • Child-friendly spaces in war zones and refugee camps worldwide offering children trauma counselling, education, healthcare and a safe place to play and rest
  • SOS Children’s Villages schools and vocational training programmes

Philanthropy

No matter how big or small your donation, it will make a huge difference to the lives of the children and families we support. Our fundraising team has partnered with a number of philanthropists to support much needed work around the globe. We will work closely with you to understand your interests and goals. If there is a specific programme or aspect of our work that you would like to contribute towards we will be happy to discuss this with you and accommodate you wherever we can.
