SOS Children's Villages works with welfare authorities across Europe to ensure every unsupported child receives the level of care and protection they need to have the opportunity to thrive.

We operate in 36 European countries providing a secure family upbringing to almost 5,000 unsupported children and helping 2,500 young people make the difficult transition from alternative care to independent adult lives.

Our 218 social centres provide family strengthening and psycho-social support to 21,000 struggling families, helping them stay together and reducing child abandonment and neglect. We also work along the European migrant routes protecting unaccompanied child refugees and helping reunite them with their families.
