The construction of the Primary School will begin in the second half of the year 2001. The school will have 6 classrooms, multipurpose room, canteen, kitchen, administration, computer workshop, library and corresponding restrooms, which will accommodate approximately 200 SOS children and those from the local community. The objective of the SOS Hermann Gmeiner School is to offer an excellent educational service and promote the integration of the SOS Children's Village and its facilities in the local community. The required age of admittance will be 6 to 12 years old.
